Product Introduction
The flange adapter is mainly composed of a valve body, a gland, a sealing ring and a bolt. The valve body and gland are usually made of carbon steel or ductile iron, and the sealing ring is sealed with EPDM rubber, which has good water tightness and air tightness. Technical requirements for flange adapters
1. The flange sealing surface should be correctly aligned (axial and radial), and the parallelism and alignment tolerance should be in accordance with the regulations.
2. Before tightening the bolt, the gap of the flange sealing surface should not be greater than 2 times the thickness of the gasket, and it should not be put in place with the help of external auxiliary tools, nor should the method of tightening the bolt be used to adjust the spacing of the flange or eliminate the deflection of the flange joint.
3. The bolt should be perpendicular to the flange and pass freely through the bolt hole, and the nut should be flat and pasted to the back of the flange.
4. The excessive installation deviation of the flange joint should be corrected before the gasket is loaded.
5. The size of the gasket should be consistent with the size of the flange, and it should be kept coaxial with the flange during installation to prevent blocking the medium flow channel.
