Single Sphere Ansi 150LB Flange Flexible Neoprene EPDM Rubber Expansion Joint
Single ball rubber expansion joint (also known as single ball rubber soft joint, single ball rubber compensator) is a flexible connection element used in pipeline systems to absorb vibration, reduce noise and compensate for displacement.
Structure and composition
1. Ball part: single ball design, composed of inner and outer rubber layers and reinforcement layers (such as polyester cord), with high flexibility and elasticity.
2. Flange interface: usually equipped with metal flange (carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.) or threaded interface for easy installation.
3. Internal reinforcement: may contain wire rings or skeleton layers to improve pressure bearing capacity.
Main functions
Displacement compensation: absorb axial, lateral and angular displacement of pipelines (such as thermal expansion and contraction).
Vibration reduction and noise reduction: relieve vibration and noise generated by pumps, valves and other equipment.
Sealing and leak prevention: prevent medium leakage and adapt to pipeline misalignment.
Corrosion resistance: rubber material can adapt to a variety of chemical media.

Applicable fields
Water supply and drainage pipeline system:
