Rubber Coupling Stainless Steel Flange End Face Fully Sealed Flexible Connector Rubber Expansion Joint
Flanged rubber joints (also known as flanged rubber joints, rubber flange flexible joints) are a common pipe connection component, mainly used to absorb pipe vibration, compensate for displacement and reduce noise.
Structure and composition
Rubber body: usually made of oil-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and high-temperature resistant rubber (such as NBR, EPDM, CR, etc.).
Reinforcement layer: multiple layers of polyester cord or steel wire skeleton to improve pressure bearing capacity.
Flanged part: the edge of the rubber joint is folded outward, fits with the flange, and is fixed by bolts.
Flange: mostly made of carbon steel or stainless steel, connected to the pipeline flange.
Main features
Good sealing: The flange design increases the contact area to prevent medium leakage.
Shock absorption and noise reduction: The rubber elasticity absorbs pipeline vibration and impact.
Compensation displacement: It can be displaced axially, laterally or angularly to alleviate thermal expansion and contraction or installation errors.
Pressure and temperature resistance: The working pressure is usually 0.6~2.5MPa, and the temperature range is -20℃~120℃ (depending on the material).

Common types
Single ball flanged rubber joint: suitable for general pipes.
Double ball flanged rubber joint: larger compensation and stronger flexibility.
Reducing diameter flanged rubber joint: connects pipes of different diameters.
Acid and alkali resistant/high temperature resistant type: special rubber material adapts to harsh environments.
Single sphere rubber joint Double sphere rubber joint
Reducing rubber joint Food grade rubber joint
Difference from ordinary rubber joints
Pressure bearing capacity: The flange structure is more suitable for high-pressure occasions.
Installation method: The flange joint is directly fixed by flange bolts
Selection points
Medium: Select matching rubber material (such as EPDM acid and alkali resistance, NBR oil resistance).
Pressure level: Select according to the system working pressure.
Displacement requirements: Determine the axial, lateral or angular compensation.
Flange standard: Match the national standard (GB), American standard (ANSI), German standard (DIN), etc.
